Calculating the cost of college
How much you can expect to pay for returning to school with Herzing University goes well beyond a simple cost per credit figure.
Three crucial factors contribute to the overall calculation when planning your college education: how much it costs, how much help you can receive, and the overall return on your investment.
1. How much it costs
Tuition, fees, and expenses
Cost per credit does not paint the entire picture, but it’s a good place to start. Tuition and fees cover extensive access to experienced and credentialed faculty, comprehensive career-focused coursework, online and on-campus resources, career development services, a vibrant community of fellow students, and so much more.
Step one is to determine an estimate of tuition and expenses related to your chosen career program.
2. How much help you can receive
Types of financial aid
You aren’t alone! You may be eligible for a host of financial aid options from many sources, including Herzing-funded programs you will not receive elsewhere. We awarded more than $17 million in scholarships and grants to students in 2023.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Discover all of your potential options for financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans, VA/military benefits, and more.
3. Return on your investment
Career success after graduation
The most important metric of all is how much value you get out of your education—the return on your investment. Our curriculums are designed to help you succeed in your career, increase your earning potential, and ease the process of paying for school.
